Workshops and Training

The Lancashire Association of School Governing Bodies organises a variety of ‘Training’ for Lancashire Governors,
in addition to that provided through the Local Authority and GEL.

There is an ‘Annual Conference’ each May, with a variety of speakers covering a general theme.

We have also recently begun to expand our work with an increasing number of training-oriented events, eg for our Special School members and on specific topics.

There is no additional charge for attendance, above your school’s membership fee, no matter how many of your governors come along

- nor for the often substantial refreshments!

We are happy to try to address any ideas or topics that you have that might benefit Lancashire Governors.

GEL is now Learning Link Training
You may be aware that the NGA has taken over the hosting of the former GEL online governor training. If your school buys the training service from LCC then you can register to use Learning Link. Register at https://nga.vc-enable.co.uk/Register .
