LASGB 25th Annual Conference 2019 – The Future of School Governance

Please note that the LASGB will hold its 25th Annual on Saturday 11th May 2019.

Registration and refreshments were from 9:00 with the conference starting at 9.30am.

The conference will be held at The Hallmark Hotel Leyland, Leyland Way, Preston, PR25 4JX  (click here for map).

The conference will be opened by our Chair, John Davey, and speakers will include:

Suzi Charles – County Councillor, Cabinet member for Children, Young People and Schools
Edwina Grant OBE – Executive Director of Education and Children’s Services
Steve Belbin – Acting Director of Education
Jayne Wynne – Looking at your ‘Brand’
Emma Knights OBE – CEO of National Governers’ Association

Our President Bill Hodgson will close the conference.

This is another opportunity to meet the executive, hear some great speakers and raise issues that concern you and generally share good practice with other governors in Lancashire.

The conference will close by 13:30.
