Please ignore the boxes below - the dates currently are as above for the duration.

NB – It does not have to be the Chair of Governors who only goes to this training – the Chair can nominate another governor in their place.

Important points  - some in more normal times:

  • The sessions have been arranged by the District where your school is located, but if Chairs'/Vice Chairs' (as appropriate) are unable to participate on the specific date/time; an evening session has been arranged for all districts.  Alternatively, Chairs'/Vice Chairs' can register for a session in another district.
  • Registration for the briefing sessions is via the LPDS website above.  However, if governors have any difficulty registering online, please contact LPDS directly on 01257 516100.
  • Please forward any questions prior to the session to lpds@lancashire.gov.uk and there will be an opportunity at the end of the session for governor discussion. Please state the session that you are attending.  It may not be possible to answer all questions at the individual sessions, but the Authority will look to providing a composite response to queries when all sessions have been completed.
  • The Zoom hyperlink and password will be emailed to you to enable you to join the video conferencing session.

The sessions will be recorded and a link will be available to delegates following the end of the briefing period.
