October 2022 AGM – 15/10/2022
TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE LANCASHIRE ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNING BODIES
In accordance with the Constitution notice was given that the Annual General Meeting of the Association was to be held at the SALMESBURY HOTEL, Preston New Road on Saturday 15th October 2022, at the close of the Annual Conference.
This year we proposed a revised Constitution, a copy of which was attached to an e-mail invitation that had been sent to all registered governors. All governors of all member schools were entitled to attend the AGM, though there was only one vote per school.
Each year one third of the Executive retire by rotation but are eligible for re-election. If your school wished to nominate a governor to serve on the Executive then nominations must have been sent to contactus@lasgb.org.uk not later than 14 days before the AGM.
