LASGB Spring 2024 Workshop – ‘Personal Development – recent guidance regarding the statutory elements and the consultation on gender questioning children’

Roxana Sardais, Leader of the LCC Equality and Diversity Team,  and Jennifer MacDonald, PSHE adviser for LCC,  outlined the difficult area of Personal Development; they described what the statutory elements are and explored the latest consultation around gender questioning.

Governors discussed these often contentious issues and raised suggested areas for further discussion with schools.
