Schools’ National Funding Formula
As governors we are inundated with information about the new schools’ national funding formula.
All kinds of statistics about how much is being spent and how the pie will be divided.
Changes to national insurance payments, the apprenticeship levy, pension and a number of other cost pressures are squeezing school budgets and eating into reserves.
A number of education organisations are running campaigns to get people to write to their MP’s about these pressures.
Download here a copy of the letter sent by the Lancashire Schools’ Forum to Lancashire MP’s.
The LASGB would ask that you consider the letter’s contents and that you consider writing to your MP. We also ask that your support staff and parents if they feel they wish to make representations.
